Blog 4

Fair use is a term that we can all relate to. This is especially good for us because in this class we will be using pictures and other items that we did not create but merely got from someone else. It would e a pain for all of us if we had tio get permission to use each image from the person that created it. It would be even harder to enforce leading us to the fair use laws. Many sites provide icons and pictures that are included in the fair use policy. One site that hosts many pictures that anyone can use is http://gimp-savvy.com/PHOTO-ARCHIVE/. Many more can be found by doing an internet search. Another example of material that is for everyone's use can be found by looking at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons.

I think fair use is also a term we can all relate to. It would be a pain if we had to get permission for every image we took.. I went to the gimp-savvy site and really liked it.. thanks for the insight!
